Hello,
Dormant People · Milos, Greece · Investigation since 2014
Change
the state.
We ask chemistry to wake us, focus us, calm us and alter perception.
But no signal enters an empty organism. Something is already moving. Something is already changing. The body is never waiting.

The direction changes
Before chemistry became something we consumed to change our state, it was how Earth changed state—and life became possible.
The investigation moves from modern stimulation, receptors and metabolism toward transferable carbon units and the older chemistry of sulfur, manganese, oxygen, salt and transformation.
What if understanding the signal becomes another kind of signal?
Eight observations · A journey backward and return
Follow the signal backward.
From modern stimulation through the older conditions of life—then back to the organism that keeps requesting another state.
Modern stimulation
Why do we change a state that is already changing?
Wake me up. Calm me down. Help me concentrate. Change my perception. We repeatedly introduce signals into an organism that is never empty or still. The investigation began by asking what repetition builds across time.
The name is the conclusion
Dormancy is
only a state.
Not absence. Not failure. Not an ending. A living system can reduce activity while preserving the conditions for another transition.
To awaken is not to escape the organism. It is to recognize the state, remain inside the change, and discover what can emerge next.
The complete trajectory · Two parts
A journey backward
to understand what repeats now.
The documentary begins with the modern signal, travels through Earth’s older conditions, and returns to the biological present: activation, transformation, redistribution and return.

A question that travelled backward—and returned changed.
A question appeared in 2014. Instead of abandoning it, I followed it through scientific literature, biological markers, biochemistry, neurobiology, natural philosophy and the volcanic landscapes of Milos.
